Dear Members, Friends, and Supporters of the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women,
It is a privilege to serve as the National President of NOBEL Women. I am honored to stand alongside a group of dynamic women around a common goal: to increase the presence of black women in leadership and legislatures across this country. With its rich history, diverse, ever-growing membership, NOBEL Women provides amazing opportunities for its supporters and the communities in which it serves.
We are immensely proud of our signature programming such as Girls Gigabytes and Gadgets—an innovative summit purposes to get girls engaged in the internet, technology, and digital space.
Our reach with the 3G Program is immeasurable and the impact it has had on the lives of children and families has limitless possibilities. Furthermore, the NOBEL Women Lois DeBerry Leadership Training and Educational Development Institute embodies the mission and goals of the organization to raise up women leaders and increase our presence on local, statewide, and national boards and commissions, as well as in every branch of government.
NOBEL Women will continue to create programs that will engage our legislative members with corporate partnerships. Our strategic plan establishes a trajectory of strengthening our connections to business and industry while reaching those corporations that align with our core values.
NOBEL Women, with the help of our Corporate Advisory Council, proudly provides a national voice on issues that impact the lives of women. Without the steady concern and commitment of this organization, many of the critical matters facing Black women may go unnoticed and possibly ignored.
As NOBEL Women continues to stand for creating policy measures that promote the wellbeing of families, we will be at the forefront of ensuring justice and creating seats at the table for women.
We are forever united, forever unified, and forever undeterred!
Sincerely,
Attorney Juandalynn Givan | State Representative, Alabama HD 60 National President
